Sea Witch

Cauldron hubble, tempest bubble
Sea witch in her lair.
‘Ocean potion cast commotion,
lock of mermaid’s hair,
sharp fish scales to lash white sails,
stinging sea wasp spawn,
bladder wrack, sailors’ tack,
stir with swordfish horn.’

Whales are leaping, sea slugs creeping,
dark clouds heavy sinking,
thunder, lightening, wild winds frightening,
moray eels deep slinking.
Ship bells ringing, sirens singing,
guardians of sea graves,
foaming horses, rearing, tumbling,
riding on the waves.

Cauldron hubbling, tempest bubbling
Sea witch in her lair
Sailors – home! No time to roam,
a storm fast fills the air
